The Difference

Performance Standards
Tested to American Standards and Testing Methodologies (ASTM E-119) and National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA 75) for fire and thermal tolerance building standards. Normal construction will allow for a cold face 250 degree rise in ambient temperature with no breach of fire(air temp of 70 degrees F will rise to 320 degrees F in 90 minutes of a fire). Electronic data media is corrupted at 131 degrees and hardware is corrupted at 158 degrees F; these temperatures are typically exceeded within the first 15 minutes of a fire with standard construction. The Modular iBunker’s™ iGuard Armor Panel™ technology exposed to the same conditions does not exceed 115 degrees cold face temperature for 90 Minutes.
