Limited Choices

Before the Modular iBunker, the only alternative for us was double layer sheetrock, which is limited and provides little if any protection, or concrete walls. Concrete walls are extremely impractical for use in building of multiple floors because of weight considerations. Additionally, concrete is inflexible, which severely restricts any and all future expansion or contraction needs.

Limited Exposure

The Modular iBunker can be installed indoors or outdoors. By keeping the Modular iBunker intact, you can expand your facility without exposing your IT equipment to the hazards typically associated with a construction site and without rendering your suppression systems useless for extended periods of time.

Modular MCF iBunker™

A light heavyweight
Factory engineered to exacting ISO 9002 Standards with tolerances to 1/5000th of an inch, marginally impacting building load weight limits (average 30 to 40 lbs/sq ft). Standard construction providing a comparable level of security (Tier IV) would weigh thousands of pounds and would not be modular or portable.

Product Details

Using individual, two-foot wide iGuard Armor Panels™ that are locked together with a series of strategically positioned cam-locks along the edge of each panel to create complete, six-sided enclosures using floor, wall, and ceiling panels.

There are a series of Penetration Management Devices (PMD’s) used to facilitate and manage the exchange of various elements from the outside to the inside of the enclosure. The iVent™ Mechanical Dampers manage fresh air and mechanical air exchange. The iPassage™ Door System controls human and equipment exchange, and the iPortal™ Transfer Portals enable cable, wire, and plumbing to be run into and out of the enclosure. The purpose of these PMD’s is to allow activity between the contents of the enclosure and the support systems needed to operate a functioning unit without compromising the structural integrity or breach the security of the Modular iBunker™.

The Modular iBunker™ is installed independent of the building architecture and serves to surround and contain unlimited areas of space with single unit configurations. The smallest units start around 80 square feet but can be as large as hundreds, if not thousands of square feet. Vast sizes are rapidly deployed with an internal support structure consisting of columns and joist. Joist runs occur every ten feet, the span of a standard ceiling panel and are supported by columns on various intervals.
